12 yr old grade mare

This pretty girl tapes at 14hh if not.. a hair under. She is compact and stout, the perfect size for kid or adult. I first met this girl when we lived in Georgia, I purchased her from a family that did trail riding on the weekends and maybe a fun show here and there. I called her "Lady" then. We sold her to a friend of ours that has owned her for the last two years as her kids horse. She has done trails, pony club, small jumps, and a lot of fun pony club things. Many different kids rode her and I was told she was successful at her job. The only reason she is back is because they purchased  a step up horse from us. Since being back Georgia has taught a lesson, done some trail rides and rode inside and outside the arena. She seems to like the outdoor better than the indoor but, was behaved in both. I would call her canter green which I attribute to the fact that she has just been walk trotting for the last two years. She is healthy, an easy keeper and gets along with others. If riding on harder ground (like our half frozen outdoor) I would recommend shoes or she has also worn trail boots before. She is sound and other than the shoe recommendation requires no maintenance. She seems to like riding in a snaffle best and respects it well, she has smooth gaits and a laid back demeanor. She has been out of consistent work due to weather and the kids being busy, which her price reflects along with needing some canter work. She ponies well behind other horses and goes through everything we have found out in the trail. She doesn't have any stall habits and loads, unloads, and trailers well. She straight and crossties without an issue. She is learning about softness in the bridle but, isn't 100% in it. She will ride on a loose floppy rein without an issue.
